Travelling on AP this summer
I received my Advance Parole approval notice and I am planning on Nepal visit this summer. for my return trip, How will Nepal Customs at the Airport treat my Travel Document since it is not a visa. Can someone who has been through it share their experience.
When i presented my AP to the customs in Nepal immigration, that person was familiar with the document. He thought my green card was being processed lol but I didn't correct him and he stamped departed on my pp. So don't worry, people there knows about this document even the agent of the airlines ticket counter at TIA knew about this as I didn't have to explain anything to them.
Just know that you will be taken into secondary inspection by US immigration. Don't worry or freak out because the paroled stamp is usually kept in that inspection office.

another tip: if you're flying back make sure you fly via Etihad because you get to clear the customs and immigration for USA at Abu Dhabi and you can just enjoy your 14-17hrs long flight back to USA
