Reconciliation immigration Plan B rejected! No TPS to GC
As I said in one of my earlier posts when the parliamentarian rejected the first proposal, this process is effectively over since the Senate Dems don’t have the spine or votes to overrule the parliamentarian.

I know this must be depressing for people who were desperately waiting for GC.
I am not here to throw salt but at least you have temporary and you will not be sent home at all. Use this time to find alternate paths to GC. Good luck to all and again no intention to hurt anyone's feeling but just urging to find some other way.

As the process to pass an inclusive federal budget package moves forward, it is imperative that Senator Schumer and Democratic leaders hold the line and deliver long-awaited immigration relief to millions across the country.
Surrounded by candles and flowers at the vigil, essential workers, DACA and TPS recipients will share their stories on the urgent need for Congress to ensure a pathway to citizenship for millions is included in the budget reconciliation package this year. Last month, under Senator Schumer’s leadership, the Senate approved a budget resolution, which includes a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. Community members will call on Senator Schumer to deliver on his promises to advance and include a path to citizenship in the final budget.
Completely agree with Goddamn. Use this opportunity to find other ways to be permanent residents. There are many paths, schools, work etc

Sure. Luckily I did not have to go through Indian consultancy. I started with an internship at a job fair at my school and got hired from there. That being said, I have nothing against hard working people jumping project to project never knowing what to expect next. I think in the long run they have better exposures to different industries and different technologies. They would have gone through fire to come out better than you and I.
So again good luck to you. Try to find other paths that involve hard work for permanent residency than completely depending on TPS. You are in luck right now with TPS but it’s better to not be stuck in a temporary situation for too long.
