@meraj here we are not discussing that 6th grader argument. We are not throwing stereotypical words like "taxpayers money" etc that sounds cliche. Plus the immigrants that they are trying to put into legislation have been here and paying taxes for more than 25 years.

Why is tax payer dolor is cliche and is 6th argument? Just because it’s different in opinion. Everyday people pay tax and that very dolor is what gets spent by government at the end of day. If shit hits fan , government will have no option other than raising tax to cover expense and dept. So where government is spending dolor is definitely concern for people.

Plus illegals are illegals , except for kids who probably didn’t knew when they were brought in. 25 yrs of staying here was choice for folks , choice they made to be illegal and stay illegal. There are lot of Indians , Chinese working, paying taxes and staying in que for green card working in H1B for decade. But no Nepalese’s get to have green card first just because , their home land got earthquake from no-where when folks happen to be in US. This is ridiculous argument and most in-efficient use of privilege.

This is public forum , everyone is entitled to opinion, if like minded folks want to talk themselves, they should use private forums and chats. So read it suckers lol.

And , I have no concern giving green card to dreamers , or any other countries which have in-humane living conditions at present  or for decades , which is what TPS really meant for. Nepal is far from from that, and Nepalese’s don’t deserve TPS just because we had earthquakes and impact on living conditions or threat to life is long gone. This advocacy for TPS/green card for Nepalese’s  is for personal benefits at this point .

@meraj bro: There is nothing fair about US immigration system. Everyone has to find something that gives them some kind of pathway like marriage, DV, PERM etc. For many Nepali people, TPS is a hope to achieve this dream of being truly free in this country known as land of freedom. And it is good for Nepal as well, as it helps with remittances and maintain good long term relationships with superpower. And just because one group of immigrants have been unlucky with backlog doesn’t mean we should feel guilty about our privilege. You’re right US immigration rules are bizarre and we are simply trying to chart out path in this absurd system. Personally, I have never violated my status in 10 yrs I’ve been here and TPS will give me faster route to residency than work sponsorship, that’s why I’m invested in it. I don’t even wish my enemy the stresses and mental issues that come with immigration topics.
Anyways, good luck to all and fingers crossed.

@meraj Very much entitled to your opinion, as much as the entitlement I hear spewing out of your words.

Here's my opinion - go f* yourself.

@meraj we are not saying you cannot post anything, just dont agree with you. your argument is still like that of a 6th grader. Cliche b/c everybody says that all the time when a fair policy of redistribution is attempted. I assume you are not a native tribe, so you came under something. We can argue say any program is not necessary for the sake of settling your life here in the US. It is just a category--H1B, DV, PERM, of TPS/DACA. At the end of the day capitalism rules here.
Also, did you even notice Liberians TPS/DED holders got GC during the last administration? NO right? So your personal ego is influencing here. So, Nepali TPS holders don't deserve but some other country that you are not aware of deserves it? That's why you are not making an educated argument here. You have every rights to post anything it just doesnt make sense.

As far as I've seen -- fake asylum filers (99.99% of them by the way) who got their GC during the Obama administration years and now got their citizenship are the biggest critics of TPS programs these days. They act like they're born here and talk shit about liberal policies which by the way enabled them to get their GC in the first place. lol lol, such hypocrites.

Edit: Just wanted to make clear that I've no animosity towards anyone. Everyone's got to do what they have to do but please don't belittle folks vehemently just because you got your shit together by hook and crook. Live and let live folks!

OK let me make it clear....

right now senate dems passed a blank bill with nothing on it and went to senate vacation. they will return by august 23. but the good part is no one objected (2 idiots are there sinema and manchin so keep a eye on. them). what i think is they wont object this bill but they want to reduce extra spending like say 3.5 trillion to 3 trillion like that.

watch august 23 another date. then schumer gave deadline of september 15 for the words on the bill. so that is another big date. then only watch for senate parliamentary she will weigh in after that.

after september 15 you will know the wordings on the bill. then nancy pelosi aunti will come to picture. she said she wont touch 1 trillion bill without 3.5 trillion one. after sept 15 they will do voting on house. in house they have 3 democracts to spare but everyone must come together.

(also mr mangale dada was a pro on this matter. he worked in a law firm or something. but our egoistic sajha.com banned him for no reason. thats why i wanted him to be unbanned so he could put more clearer words for you gaich:)

cheers gacih!!

Yeah Pandeyji is true. I think even House has to pass this black blue print first. Sept 15 is the deadline to come up with the legislation, then is the time when Elizabeth McDonah can say yes or no to immigration provision, as far as I have understood.
In the meantime, I guess TPS extension/re-designtion or DED must come before then b/c of 60 days thing. I expect early next week or so.
