It does not hurt to be polite.

Yes, I remember many years back this law was passed. In all fairness, if a married son gets ancestral property the married daughter should too. That was the logic being used.

@sanaklaal yes even if they are married, they can still claim on their parental property. Dude if anything, the son who's alive and married can ask his wife to claim on her parental property. Just share your parents property with your sister/ sisters. Don't be stingy. And just because you are asking the same thing over and over doesn't mean that you'll get any different answer.

Goddess of Wealth - Laxmi
Goddess of Wisdom - Saraswati
Goddess of Power - Durga

यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता:।
यत्रैतास्तु न पूज्यन्ते सर्वास्तत्राफला: क्रिया:।

Where Women are honored, divinity blossoms there, and where ever women are dishonored, all action no matter how noble it may be, remains unfruitful.

This discriminatory law was overridden by a new law which treats son and daughters equally regardless of marital status.

Looks like the act was passed in 2017. So it depends if the daughter was already married or not before the act.read this :due to the increasing voice against the gender quality in property distribution, now the provision under the Chapter 13 of Partition, daughters are provided with equal eligibility in parental property on the basis of the number of alive bodies.[10] However, the sub-clause of the same clause has mentioned that the daughters who are already married during the formulation of such act, cannot claim for their parental property.
