Has anyone recently travelled to Nepal from the US? My parents (who are fully vaccinated) have a flight in a week. However, I read Nepali news everyday and it seems like you have to hotel quarantine for 10 days regardless of your covid status. How strictly is this enforced?

Does Qatar Airways check the hotel reservation before letting you board? I know they checked the Covid report and the CCMC form until last month before they even let you check in.

I am trying to see if I should ask them to stay 15 more days , in case they enforce the hotel quarentine. I am hoping they will change this stupid rule in a month. They have been here for some time and are wanting to go back.

Any information I can get is deeply appreciated.

I beleive that is the case. Everyone are quarantined at a hotel at their own expenses regardless.
