Yes, a Great idea from Maryland Senators. And, guess who lives in Maryland, a-ha Sexy In Sari as well.

Senator Hollen and Senator Cardin, both from Maryland sent a letter on Sept 14 to a senate leadership to add automatic EAD extension on the upcoming COVID-19 stimulus package.

Dear Majority Leader McConnell and Minority Leader Schumer,

We urge you to include automatic employment authorization document (EAD) extensions for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) holders in the next coronavirus relief package. The Trump administration has revoked or declined to renew TPS for over 400,000 TPS recipients and they should not face uncertainty regarding their immigration status or ability to work in the midst of a global pandemic.

I don't know where this bill go but you might be crying foul with the request to add TPS in the next coronavirus relief package. This is happening because thousand of healthcare workers during this pandemic, who are working in the frontline, are TPS holders.. This makes it viable for lawmakers to add the tps in the package.
