The original reason why the fire trucks were delayed is that the blockade happened exactly when I flew to Nepal to sign the necessary agreements with the government to import the trucks.

In celebration of India's historic announcement today that it was behind the 2015/16 economic blockade against Nepal, a fact which the Indian government has steadfastly denied until today's announcement, we are screening the preview of an feature-length documentary film about the blockade. Filmed by Sisan Baniya and Samson Karki, the documentary chronicles the blockade and proves India's involvement. We were going to wait to release this film until after the fire trucks arrive, but now we'll get it out ASAP. Stay tuned!
