Hi all, my i485 is still pending and my EAD will expire in 15 days. I sent the renewal one month ago and yesterday I called them, they said they have no record of renewal application. My employer is very strict about status and I will lose my job if I didn't provide a valid EAD.
What should I do now ?

Thank you all.

Live with the consequences coz there's nothing much you can do. Also you should've applied renewal 4 months ago (before your current ead expires ). You may send another application overnight and may get a receipt letter within 2 weeks which will automatically extended your expiring ead for 6 months.

If that didnt workout good luck with your unpaid leave !! But I think your post is fake coz i don't know if someone can be this dumb.

Where was your interview location? For how long was your EAD valid?

I kindda agree with khakhok on the sentiment expressed.
If your expiring EAD is category C09 (received as a result of pending I-485), you can apply for renewal of EAD on the same category and continue working for additional 6 months with the receipt notice. USCIS will probably issue renewed EAD within that time.
If the USCIS has not sent you a receipt notice in 15 days, it will probably send you the entire application back due to errors leading to rejection.
If the money is tight and can't afford a lawyer's fee, at least get some paralegal help for review of your application. Your errors ultimately will cost you money, later if not now.
Make sure you do the G-1145 also so that you know whether they have accepted your application.
If your employer is hesitating, you can show him/ her the link below:
