I am in my final semester of my master's degree and need to go to nepal sometime within the next year. I also have TPS but have not applied for advanced parole yet.

Since I will be applying for OPT soon, I'm trying to find the best way to visit Nepal without any immigration issues. What do you guys recommend?

FYI I don't have an F1 stamp on my visa yet. It was a change of status from US.

Don’t apply advance parole. Might lose f1 status

I guess you cannot travel back to USA in OPT status. Make sure you are either enrolled to a school, have an I 20 then only travel.
Or you can apply for advance parole since you have TPS, then travel on that.
I do not think that you will loose your F1 status while being in TPS and traveling on AP.

My wife just went home few days ago. She's on OPT - card was approved the day she left US and it's still on it's way (she'll get the card back home before coming back to the US). She got her I-20 signed by her DSO before she left. She has a job offer...will see if she'll be able to make it back successfully. She has a F-1 visa sticker in the passport but was on TPS before (didn't apply for renewal this last time since it's going to be terminated....we thought it wasn't worth the application fee and travel restrictions).
