If asylum is denied, can I return to home country and apply for F1?
I plan to apply for asylum. But if my application is denied, can I return to Nepal and apply for F1. I am worried that you may not be able to apply to F1 because applying for asylum means that you intend to immigrate. Any suggestions will be helpful.
You can apply for F1. Since you have already shown immigrant intent, it is very difficult to get approval.
Even u apply asylum it will prove that u intent to stay tgats why

Sparty is correct. You can file but your F1 will most likely be denied. Maybe if you are going to study at a very reputed institution they might make an exception but the odds of you getting an F1 visa will be low due to your having shown immigrant intent. Try applying to and getting accepted at a top-notch school would be my suggestion if you find yourself back in Nepal. Good luck!
Impossible. One of my friend went to Guantanamo Bay to serve Life Imprisonment after denial of Asylum. Good luck.

@nepalpsycho bro if u dont know the answer and if u have no knowledge about it plesse do not give false and scary answers. If u get denied most of the time u can apply to court. If not u have time to leave the country. They wont send u to such places. Common man. Learn to respect others situations. @afterpoop bro please go to asylum page on uscis and read the detail. More info is there. Goodluck.
If you have any other means to get EAD or GC, i suggest you to go that route. Asylum or marrying US citizen for GC should be the last resort. I am telling you because of my experience. My asylum was denied in interview and court , and i was hoping for TPS, now even that is gone. So once i leave at the end of TPS , i will not be able to come to US for 10 years. I had to apply for asylum since i had no other way (graduated during Recession so did not get job and Tri Valley uni scandal happened to me).
So asylum should be the very last resort.
