Government of Nepal.

Our banking structure is different to US. Also FED isn't really owned by private banks.

so basically nobody knows.

who is govt of nepal? 601 members of parliment is the government of Nepal?

badhijanne? if federal reserve is not owned by private banks, then who; god owns it?

My friend, we need to find out who owns our central bank? after death of absolute monarchy, the control of currency and printing the new notes is controlled by who?

Why are you fixated to the idea of one person owning every single entity? Who owns the ministry of energy in Nepal? Not the minister, not Prachanda. It's the Government of Nepal. Comprende? Government is an an entity, just like a person. Government owns NRB with its CEO as the Governor.

>who is govt of nepal? 601 members of parliment is the government of Nepal?
In a way yes, they control the policy of our Government. Government also entails public officials. This doesn't mean these people are share-holders and that they share profit from its operation.

>if federal reserve is not owned by private banks, then who; god owns it?
Again, why does one person have to own it? The 12 banks have share on Fed reserve, but the share are unlike any public or private entity- in that the share holders don't take the profit (they do get divident IIRC) from FED's operation. Not one person owns it.

Ownership of Governmental entity is unlike private or public company. I think this is the point you are struggling with. Hope this clarifies.

i do not think what you are saying is correct badhijanne. In my opinion, in the modern system of currency, its controller is always above the govt.

we are not taught this.

govt cannot be the owner of central bank; absolute monarchy can be the owner.

during kingship, there were all the government ministers, but control of currency was handled by different mechanism.

somebody must know how was it done?

"ownership of government entity is unlike private or public company" . somebody please explain what will happen to currency if its owners (shareholders) dont take strong, and correct financial decisions regarding printing money (national debt). Do you still think that govt dont have to pay the loan that they borrow?

Correct statement will be "ownership by govt entity should function just like private or public company" or the business model will be disrupted.
