Hello Sajha,
I just have question about having health insurance while i am staying out of the State. As per the US govt law. We are require to have health insurance all the time if not we will have to pay fine while filing tax.

So if you are staying out of the state for lets say 6 month, do you really have to maintain your health insurance? Or you can simple cancel and tell them that you were out of the country and pay no fines?

If you don't file taxes in the US, or you are living outside the US for more than 330 days in 12 months, you are automatically exempt. If the 12 month period isn't the full tax year, you are simply exempt for any month in that 12 month period over the tax years it spans.

So what if you are going to Nepal for 1 month or 2 month or 3 or 4 months. Do you have to maintain the health insurance?
