They send me rejection notice stating application has not been fully completed. According to the notice address field is not completed. I have checked the application thoroughly but could not find the loophole. Is it because I have different address in the check issued? Please help.
It could just be a human error. The best thing to do to get the precise answer is to call USCIS service center @ 1-800-375-5283 and talk to an Immigration Officer.
My recent physical address is different from the address written in the cheque. Does it really make difference?
Did u sign the form. It can't be typed.
Yes, I signed the form.
" Your I-821, fees, and any other supporting document is being returned to you for the following reason(s):
The application/petition has not been fully completed. One or more of the following field(s) were not completed : Address"
They mentioned this on the rejection form.
Check if you left the spaces blank where "N/A" or "None" should have been typed.
We are not supposed to leave the space?? I thought we could either write "N/A" or leave it blank.
What was your answer to question 2(g)
"No". And after that filled my physical address in 3.a.-3.d.
Not sure with TPS forms, but most USCIS forms should be completely filled in with no blank spaces.
Btw, TPS forms ahould be either completely filled in on computer or fully handwritten except the signature coz they use the barcode scanning to transfer data from the form to their system. If its complettely handwritten they will manually enter thise data. If it is mixed, then they will scan the barcode and all other handwritten ones will come up blank in their system, check if that's ur case too...
Thank you ny2. I have left the boxes empty where not applicable. My forms are completely filled in the computer except for the signature. Since the form was filled by me, I am supposed to leave "Part -6" blank, right?
I will call USCIS on Monday.
Thank you guys for your concern and suggestions.
You can leave the spaces blank if its not applicable to you.
But USCIS says put N/A or None if it does not apply with you. In many forms you skips steps and leave those spaces blank so I think you can leave it blank.
It also says you can leave it blank.
ny2, i just recently sent N400 application which was accepted even though I had most of the information filled on the computer and some I had hand write because. The input boxes for the A#, SSN, some other were not working on the computer, so I did googled around and found that people have had that issue before and were suggested by USCIS officers that they could hand write where input field was not working on the computer.
I just wanted to let know that it does not have to either completely hand written or completely typed on the computer.
I am going to do the same thing with mine. I going fill whatever I can on the computer first, then print it and hand write the information that I couldn't type on the computer.
@fuckeetow
Why do you have to hand write. You can type everything on your computer while filling TPS/EAD form except sign. You have to sign with pen.
If some of the fields do not work then you have to update your acrobat reader/writer.
