Can illegals get status through TPS???
I don't know how to put it more bluntly. Illegal bhayera baseko dherai bhayo.
Does anyone have any direct knowledge if people out of status can apply for TPS.
You can apply, of course! The status you get is called TPS
What is the process for illegal to stay legal even after TPS period is over?
In most cases, TPS are extended. Also, TPS will not affect any other USCIS application. You can continue your things, getting married, asylum, labor filing, and many other options that will give you legal status.
So an illegal Nepali can become legal with TPS? Can TPS guy travel and come back?
A person with out of status can obtain temporary legal by applying for TPS. Yes, A person can travel if he/she obtains advance parole.
a, person can fuck dog, cat, mouse whatever with TPS but again its temporary(18 mths), After 18 mths it will keep on getting renewed( history says so).
A person can apply for TPS while he/she may have other nonimmigrant visa status( for them TPS will be extra layer of protection and also EAD if the person needs one)
@urban khasi
You are wrong. You cannot fuck dog, cat , mouse whatever with TPS. Sex with animals is illegal no matter which status you are in including TPS.
just a thought.... :) :)
For Saranarthi bandhu haru,
you shd apply for TPS(extra protection) and can get advance payrole. Yatra pani garna milcha tara Nepal chai na janu hola..
1, If you applied for Saranarthi and you were in unlawful status, and lets say you obtain advance parole to travel, one problem you may encounter while coming back is " port of entry officer might assume you have abandoned your saranarthi case, and might deny you entry. So please do some research.
2, If you are traveling,(lets say they issed you travel permission) , pick a busy airport. Do not land back in some tiny airport in IDAHO. Land in lets say NYC OR LA where tehre is heavy immigrant traffic. (and use your brain why i said that)

@urban khasi ...
After reading your post Avvo Lawyers will be like:
"I hope you retain a good immigration attorney before you make an irreversible mistakes as what you stated above shows that you do not have a necessary understanding that you CANNOT [Disallowed String for - banned word] a dog, cat, mouse or other animal...and definitely not a goat"....
Go for it.
4. Why are Haitians who were illegal immigrants in the U.S. reaping all the benefits of TPS as opposed to helping those actually hit hardest by the earthquake?
Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is designed to provide a temporary means to remain in the United States for those who cannot return to their country. TPS should not be viewed as a reward for possibly being in the United States without a valid immigration status, rather it should be viewed as an act of compassion during a time of need.
USCIS has taken steps to also assist those in Haiti who have been impacted by the earthquake. In addition to the work that our staff in Haiti has done and continues to do, USCIS has assisted many orphans in coming to the United States and has been expediting the processing of petitions filed on behalf of relatives in Haiti.

What if someone stayed illegally for many years in the US and the person applys for TPS, obtains advanced parole and travels to India and come back? Will the person be allowed re-entry based on how many years he resided in the US out-of-status?
