Superb movie. And as always, Aamir at his best. Great comedy timings. At the end, seems little bit boring as it tends to have something predictable love story ending and blah blah typical bollywood type movie. Other than that, movie is awesome. 8.5/10 is my rating.
PS: Oh My God is not even close compared to PK. Akshay himself playing as God was worst thing in OMG.
Unlike most "masala" movies, this movie is a comedical satire and a "must watch"
It was like watching "Meena" cartoon. Very "sandeshmoolak".
@college bro , OMG was far better then PK ( in my view ). Over there Akshya was God , over here Aamir was alien. Both bash Hinduism and of course budget of PK was too high so it looks high end movie (all star cast, location , dress).

Why PK is not good?
-small jokes about Hindu and other religions put together in a sequence, which as an audience perceives as a SEQUENCE cooked together by force (Khaye ha.. Nakhaye Ghich).
-I wonder if heroine's boyfriend has no dress to wear. From beginning scene to ending scene, this guy is in same sweater (like my high school one).
-AK enters the movie like Terminator 2's ARNOLD Schwarzenegger. He eats paan/ samosa etc. And most of all, he cries like in Satyamev Jayate.
Well, as someone said, it is indeed a masala movie with same message as OMG wants to give.
What I got? = It made me to watch Terminator 2 again.

Very well written, presented and complete justice to the script from artists. All in all, superb movie.
I like Raj Kumar Hirani's movies. For me, 3 Idiots was better compared to PK. PK is still a very good movie.
Just watched PK. I feel like this movie lacks something. I will rate this movie as an average time-pass movie.
Aliens with the technology of flying saucer and doing inter-stellar travel will also have the technology to detect the level of human civilization. Why would such an advanced civilization would choose planet Earth to visit as if they have nothing else to do? Also, an alien who can read your mind can also locate where his locket was taken after being stolen but Amir has to do lot of work just to find his locket which doesn't seem fit in this context because Amir belonged to a superior civilization with super-sensory power of mind.
Something doesn't fit in this movie!
I haven't watched PK nor OMG but I have heard both of them are against babas and matas. Or are they against bhagwan too?
If they are against babas and matas who are making crores acting as a god, i don't see anything wrong with it coz babas and matas ain't no god and people should stop worshiping them. It's a 21st century for god sake.
btw OMG is also not an original script movie. The movie was inspired by some other movie from australia or new zealand.
If PK had been made before omg, it would have been super duper chuper hit.
I thought it is still a super duper hit..118 crores in 4 days, isn't that a super duper hit? Now, for a 'chuper' hit, I think it should cross 250 crores mark. Now, I know someone will chip in and say that the box office number is blah blah ..but it is what it is.
Sorry for the people who have not seen the movie yet. We blasted the suspense. I had no clue what the movie was about before I watched.
It was a decent mixture of slapstick and genuine humor. Some of them were really forced while some were genuinely funny. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the entire team needs to come up w/ a formula that sets a new flick completely apart, though. When I watched "3 idiots" it took me less than 5 mins to draw similarities between it and MunnaBhai MBBS (1 and 2).
I quite wish I'd gotten to enjoy the movie without unpleasantries associated with watching movies with our own people.
The last time I watched a movie was in Boston, too. "Hostel"- Bhuwan Kc's son starrer. That was a shit flick. And people laughing at lames jokes made it quite worse.
Watching PK at dinner time was even worse this time around. There were more Nepalis than Indians (this goes onto show how deeply we hate India). What made it worse was 2 jackasses sitting behind me w/ an extremely unpleasant BO. They smelled like they hadn't showered in a week. I ended up watching the movie covering my nose and since there were no empty seats around me, I couldn't switch my seats either.
What made it worse was some lady laughing throughout the movie, even at lamest of jokes.
The biggest highlight was Nepali aunties and bhaujus mistaking theater as their workplace (babysitting) and bringing kids along. And the kids simply wouldn't stop crying!
The movie was 7/10. But the overall experience was 4/10.

i wasn't thinking of watching it but this #boycottPK is making me eager to watch it. everyone is praising the movie but y so much anger in here? is it showing anything bad about hinduism? as i said before if it is against babas and matas, than boycotting it doesn't make any sense. but as per the trend and more hindu people watching it, i think it will be another good year again for aamir khan.
I mean c'mon people we have like 300 millions gods plus millions of babas and matas....as long as they haven't said anything about shivaji, i am fine. lol
I quit drinking after I turned 21.
Now I am really eager to watch this movie marked for boycotting.

The best movie I have watched in some hundred days!!....The director is quite brave to present such a humane topic in comic and subtle ways,who,also have already accumulated praises by bringing movies like Munna Bhai MBBS and Three idiots,which was a universal appeal rather than just being a Delhi's delight. Amir is ripened with acting skills in this one which he have massively missed in Dhooom 3 by copying stunts of James Bond and Peter Parker.Anuska looks a sweety in a screen but her recent facial plastic surgery looks very unnatural and weird. But this PK will nudge you and make you laugh and realise how vastly vast the existence stretch and how to befriend religion in jolly ways.The best dialouge:" Why the God is not working..has God's charge finished?..Looll."
