Is this a civil way to teach civic sense?

लाटो देशमा गाडु तन्नेरी भनेको यही हो |
समाचारमा आउँनलाई खेलिएको खेल हो कि ?
तिललाई पहाड बनाउनु हाम्रो चरित्र हो कि ?
Bunch of coward thugs who think they are doing good to society harassing a helpless man.
Do they have guts to do the same when they see corrupt cops or politicians? I doubt.
The question is: what is then? Could they have been little more diplomatic? Yes, sure.
But other diplomatic approaches like having a chair ready by footpath and make them sit there and clap them honoring their illegal crossing. It is not a new. They did it several years ago and most of you probably remember that came in news.
We are not too law-abiding historically. येस्सो अलिकति त हो नि kinda mentality prevails us.
But these are not just any other law, in a split second we could loose our lives. And it is happening more and more. One idiot goes into the traffic, gets killed and these people will be first ones to burn tires.
Do motorist have to follow the law as well? Of course. It is a very shared responsibility.
So given the unrulyness, I don't see anything uncivic about it.
The objective is commendable but the approach could have been better.
What you are seeing is a pure hoodlum behavior, sheer gunda-gardi.
No person has the right to impose themselves upon any other person. They have the right to tell the jay-walker about the violation he committed, but they have no right whatsoever to touch him, push him, and forcefully stop him. Heck, even cops don't have that right but in country like ours, it is given that those rights aren't much cared for; but these kids absolutely have no right to harass the jay-walker like that.
I am surprised there are even people supporting this.
"जस्तो देश, उस्तै भेष!"
Just playing a devil's advocate here.
Well, i guess we wont ever see the videos and pictures of all the drivers who never ever stop to let the poor pedestrians cross at the zebra crossings.
