I SEE A LOT OF CHEAP AIRFARE FROM TURKISH AIRLINE (US TO NEPAL)
AND LOOKING AT THE PREVIOUS THREADS POSTED IN SAJHA FROM A YEAR OR SO,
THE REVIEWS HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD. CAN ANYONE UPDATE ME WITH THEIR CURRENT EXPERIENCES WITH TURKISH AIRLINE. ALSO ANY THOUGHTS ON ETHIAD AND EMIRATES

Yes, Nobody has positively reviewed yet. The worst experience I have ever had. Better to book a ticket from Qatar Air.

Turkish airlines cant even offer Nepali/Indian food on KTM-IST sector but then includes MOMO in their new advertisement with soccer players. what a shame!

riddle- no offense but I already sweared to god that I will never travel through Turkish airlines . That was a long story and I have to tolerate all the above mentioned problems plus loss of baggage plus talking to them in phone for hours for upto 2 months and much more . Even if I have to pay 500 dollars more in another airlines , I will do that just to avoid airlines, and it's people , airport everyone . Some people might have good experience with them but I have not heard anyone in person so make your decision wisely

Good for me riddle bro ;-) I will say again , no for Turkish but I yesterday I saw one of their commercial about nepal and momos which is great, might help Nepal to be recognized , I think , you can watch it here

Both are top notch airlines. Emirates is better than Etihad in my opinion and experience.

just traveled to Nepal via Turkish Airline.....had pleasant travel experience ...service was ok ....not that excellent and not that horrible...

@Garikhanadeu: I was also little worried to travel via Turkish Airlines after I read such negative views. Fortunately, I did not have any bad experience with the airline. There was no any luggage problem. They allowed me two suitcase which I picked at TIA. There was no any delay on the flight. Only the delay I faced was from the Buddha air once I landed to TIA to wait for Bharatpur flight. Although the food and seat luxury are not that great at Turkish Airlines, the quality of services they provide is well justified with the money I spent on the air ticket. (FIY: I paid just $890 for both way ticket from boston to KTM)

Where did you buy the ticket? Is it through http://www.turkishairlines.com/en-int/ OR somewhere else?

Is it cheaper and reliable to buy the ticket online through priceline.com?? Thanks.
