Hello Guys and Gals,

As a civil engineer, how much are you all making? Can you give a number of years experience and salary? I got a job that is paying around 45k per year and I have a master's degree. Looking at this salary, I am tempted to pursue IT for the big bucks. But I also feel like all my years of schooling will go in waste. Is it just the starting salary or you will get stuck in such low salary for a long time? I like my career but I am also drawing to the possibility of making some serious money. Civil/Structural engineers, please give your input. MIght help in my decision making
