This morning woke up lazily at around 10 AM after staying awake till 4:30 AM in the morning praying for Netherland’s victory against Costa Rica. From the time I started understanding and enjoying football I have been an extreme Dutch supporter. Sacrifice of my sleep was totally worth as Netherlands won in penalties.
The penalty you need to pay for staying awake late is that you don’t feel fresh at any cost the next day. I took shower, drank some strong Illam tea but it was not worth to make me fresh. So I took out my mountain bike, grabbed my DSLR and tripod and started cycling out of ringroad. Moving left form Chapagaun Dobato all along Dholahiti, sunakothi and Thecho, I reached Nagadaha located at Dhapakhel. It is amazing to see such a beauty yet so close to valley. Paddy plantation in progress, calm lake, green fields, boating and fishing, it was such a lovely view. Rolling clouds of smoking into the air and gazing at calm lake, I spent couple of hours there. After loosing few drops of sweats by cycling uphill, and taking some wonderful shots through my Nikon, I was totally refreshed.
It was just an ordinary day, yet so worth.
