me and my american wife are married for 1.5 years and been together for 3 years and we jus had the interview on september for my conditional green card ...but still there has been NO DECISION yet. i am eagerly waiting for it.
well the problematic issue here is me and my wife are having issues on our relationship and Im in the verge of getting a divorce..because she is emotionally and mentally tortouring me...also it could have been worse and people would have got hurt if i hadnt kept my cool..this situation really really messed up.
i
t all started when she started hanging out with worng crowd and they are really effecting my life...i would rather live my life in peace and calmness than be torturted. but saying all that i do need a lawyer . i have tried so many of em ... and havent heard any good news from anyone of em..so do u guys have any lawyers that has dealt with these scenarios before..that is...divorce before conditional green card or divorce before the decision.
that would be great help coz the lawyers i talked to either they want to charge me 8-10 grands or either they are really bad at convincing me that they are gonna get me out of this situation in a goodway.
any suggestions would mean the world to me.
thank you.
your immigration decision will be entirely based upon your relationship with your wife I.e., you guys are married. As soon as you get divorce before any of this (UGC) happens you lose that immunity. you are no longer associated with your spouse hence no longer will be approved for any of you are waiting for. I would rather suggest work on your relationship no matter what for few months until it's over or step up saying hell with GC. Your choice buddy.
