Any movement in F2A I-130/I-485 status?
hi folks,
any updates/movement on I-130/I-485 status on USCIS applications filed this Aug/Sep after F2A was current?
@sabikali- we had applied on August1, 2013 and PD was August 2, 2013.
Diggy:- I am in the exact same situation that you are facing right now. Just yes/no questions from i 485 on interview . I also got RFE Printed and given to me on hand AT interview asking my class schedule and I submitted it very next day and still waiting for decision. My interview was on jan 6,2013. I got ead,just applied advance parole 2 days ago.
I think the interview in not taught. if you have complete documents then you don't worry about any thing. You must get F2A I-130/I-485. I also want to congratulate who get it. Best of luck guys.

@Diggy and Punter: Was this RFE after the fact that you guys submitted copies of past and current I-20s with the rest of the documents while filing for I-485/I-130?

@kailoketa:-I didn't send prior to interview. I took all the i20s at interview and show it to the IO Officer ,she says ok but she needs class schedule ,so she wrote RFE for class schedule only no I 20, these IO officer has law in their mouth, whatever they say that is law .

@kailoketa , thanks for posting my reply over here. Forget to tell one thing that IO told me before leaving, She told me that she will approve my case as soon as she receive-class schedule. Its been 3 weeks since I replied RFE. No reply yet. Waiting ....

Is there an option of DCF (Direct Consular Filing) from Nepal. Here is a link about DCF. DCF is a quickest way for a US citizen to get his/her spouse to United States.

we submitted the present and last few years of I-20s with the application. After the interview they came back and asked for my wife's 1st year school records, and the status she is in while she filed I485. We sent her school transcripts and I-20 of her 1st year in US, and current school transcript to show her current status(the latest I-20 was submitted with application).
@diggy, mine case status changed today RFE from t testing and interview, it should be RFE Review, I don't know what's going on .
Her's still saying "testing and interview". I don't even see the "RFE Review" option, theres only Acceptance, Initial Review, Testing and Interview, Decision, Post Decision Activity and Card/Document production.

Hey guys i m in opt right now and unemployed. My opt expires on may 2014. I am trying to file I-30 and I-485 together through my wife. We got married this month. We know we need to find the jobs within 3 months of opt starts. When is the best time to file ? Pls give me some suggestions.
@diggy, I got my GC yesterday. Case status is still RFE.
I have a green card and i need to file green card for my wife. Im filling out i-130 and g325 form, im confused do i need to send i485 along wit the other form as well or send it after the petition.
what supporting documents did u send other than marriage certificate?

In case anyone is still curious abut the F2A thing, my wife got greened yesterday.
Filed in early Aug. 2013. Responded to RFE late Sep. Interviewed on 24th Feb. Was approved the same day. Got email/text etc the same day as well. Card arrived yesterday (3/3). Thanks everyone for all your input and information.
