While filing i485 under F2A category on the form part 2 application type I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because, what would be the answer ( a or b)
Damn! I have chose the same option. So, i might get RFE too. Now, i have my finger crossed.you can call USCIS and let them know about it.
And have u guys done fingerprint yet or not? I haven't done mine yet..
@dilligaf- How did you know you are getting RFE? Did the status change on your case stating that they have sent RFE to you?
Uscis changed my i485 status to request for evidence on August 23 , and I got in mail on August 28, The RFE states that " submit evidence to establish that the petitioner on form I-130 or descendent on form i360 is a United States citizen"
Did you got your finger print notice budhobalak?
I have my fingerprint today afternoon,
Looks like we are on the same boat. Might get mailed RFE today or tomorrow. Finger print for my spouse is scheduled for Sept. 3. Guys lets keep things updated.
Just curious.
Is getting the notification for fingerprint is an indicator of approval of form i-130?
If not, how long does it take for i-130 to get approved for those who filed after this Aug 1?
This https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do says that processing time is more than a year in both (CA and VT) SCs for 1-130 approval. Does that mean whatever blah blah notice you get now, it will take more than a year for you to kiss green ass? oops card.
The biometrics appointment was today. I found out about the RFE after checking the status of my application online. I am worried about it too. They must know that it is concurrent filing because of the "current" status on F2A category right? Even if they didn't already know it, it was indicated in the application itself. So why the RFE? I have no idea what to make of this. Probably need professional opinion. @budhobalak, How are you going about this?
Choose option H and print spouse of a permanent residence (f2a). Add a continuation sheet with i485 and justify . That should work
REF notice has been issued on 26 August 2013 on my case as well. I had checked for option A.
I must also have got REF to prove petitioner as US Citizen. Concurrent filing petitioners for I-130 and I-485 have similar issue in trackitt.com.
How are you guys planning to response to REF?
Will the biometrics appointment date be affected due to REF issued?
Please share your experiences.
I might get RFE soon too. I have been checking my wife case status and might see RFE soon. I hope I won't see it. Just in case if we get RFE,people who had replied to RFE. Can you please provide details, how you responded to RFE?
And, Can one change the status from F1? after getting NOA1 for I-130 and I-485.
PS: My wife is graduating this december.
I havent received the rfe yet, but did received the approval for i130 which I had filed a year ago, when I filed i485 my i130 was pending, my case status online shows in acceptance phase and havent moved from there, I dn kno whats gonna happen to my case as well, I just hope if I get rfe, all I will be asked for is the copy for approval of i130.
When you guys received I-130, what did it say under preference classification? Does it say "203 A2A INA SPOUSE OF LPR" or something else? Please let us know....mine says the above one.
Deported: Congrats Bro on your approval...
