Need to improve spoken English
While I feel like I am speaking perfect english, people in class including my professor are still having difficulty understanding my english even after I've been here over 5 years. My grad school counsellor suggested I watch lot of TV shows but it's not helping. Any proven easy way to improve english accent ?

Given the demand, I am sure IOS and Android will have some apps that will teach you how to pronounce word per word. Google gara.
stop eating dal/bhat. start eating hamburgers. lol
Speak slowly. Try practicing a speech, that helps. I took a public speaking class where we had to give speeches, it helped quite a lot. I would suggest just going to a news website and reading an article out aloud.
All u have to do is speak English all the time even with your own people. Try to pronounce the words like my white people does.
thanks

Malai ni paila thulo problem thiyo. Ek choti english class ma sir le sodhyo , " what did you do during holidays?."
maile bhane ," I went to beach, and had lots of fun bhane." Mula haru saab khitititi hasi ra.
MY advice, Kuirey, Khairey, kaley, Habla espanol sanga bolna parcha, ani balah huncha. The more you intereact will people the more confident you will get. book padhera ghanta ni hudhaina. Book ta nepal ma ni hunthiyo.
Stop coming to this website! Just joking. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Be happy with your unique self! If we were all the same, life would be boring :)
There are two videos, I suggest, that might be helpful:
1. Paul S. Gruber's Pronounciation Workshop
2. Improve your american accent - Charlise Child
Practice intonation: Download any free audio book and listen to them while you read it ..mark the difficult words..
If you frequently read online english content and use chrome, download google dictionary extention. This extention provides defition and an option to listen pronouciation if you click on a word.
