we understand that you are trying to promote nepali movies and i do agree that we have to support it if the movie is good. However, you have vested interest to make a profit out of this otherwise you would show it for a charity show.

im amazed that you think $15 for a movie is not expensive nor cheap, so what is it? $15 is the new benchmark price for movies??

the thing that you have said about reserving the hall, buying rights for broadcasting and poster printing.....arent they suppose to be the cost of doing business anyway??? dont distributors here from the US have to buy the rights, print posters and various other things to show a movie??

what you are doing apart from the business purpose is very good since this helps promote good nepali movies. i have heard good raves about this movies and would be more than happy to see it but not at that price.

honestly bro you are doing a good job and trying TO MAKE A PROFIT so when thinking from a consumer's point, it is a little too much for this movie. i'd have loved to watch this movie but i am out!

Sorry to say but Nepali movies are not worth spending more than $5 on. I can predict that everyone who watches any nepali movies get disappointed

As a matter of fact, 15 bulks is expensive watching it in Fun Asia theatre and low budget Nepali movie. I don't mean to dominate Nepali movies in this case. I usually pay 7 to not more than 10 dollars at Cinemark. The truth is that Fun Asia and both organizers wants to do their business and try to lift up extra money. I ain't gonna pay 15 dollars for this movie, if it was something special like Caravan or newly upcoming movie heard " katha", ill think about it.

Whilst 15 bucks in itself isn't that big in general terms, it is still an astronomical sum for a movie ticket. You don't even cough up that much for a Hollywood flick, let alone some Kollywood movie.

Having said that, I can't wait to watch it (on youtube). The movie's got some stimulating elements related to Khaobadi bhendas getting beaten and tortured. No way I'm gonna miss out on that.

I support nepali movies and will watch them even for $15 ....but i wd not watch this movie even it was free... Frm what the trailer shows and reviews i heard i wd not watch such biased movie... and specially favoring Maoist.... Sorry people who broughtt this movie in dallas... I'd be happy to watch any other movie u guys bring but not this one... .... And yes $15 is little to much for movies... I believe if u lower the price ull have lots of people.. That way ull have more tickets sold opposite to high price and less sales... Its simple as that...

THIS IS WHAT  Bibek Shrestha Reviewed after watching Badhshala

Never had there been a more Powerful, Gripping and Realistic Nepali movie....!!!

After watching the First Day-First Show for the First Time in Life,
I had had a sigh of relief that the movie that had been hyped to be prejudiced, one-sided and socio-politically disturbing and that was in the verge of being banned was so well-balanced and the conflict and relationship between the abducted and the abductors so intense and justifiable ....

Cinematography and Location selection was just Wow!!!

The realistic performance of the very talented actors- Anup Baral, Arpan Thapa, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Khagendra Lamichane and the rest was "so close to Life".... The acting was able to cast the spell on as well as scare and thrill the audience!!!!

The Cinematic language and expression gave an insight of the crew's effort and the director's mature ability ...
Hats off to the Director Manoj Pandit who made the Cinematic Miracle happen (in Nepal ...)

Truly, my long-cherished desire of watching a 'Flawless' Nepali movie has become a reality after years of Desperation and disappointing occasions ....

Never shall we be ashamed of Nepali cinemas after we've accomplished the Nepali Onscreen Miracle....!!!

My take on this is that i had even pay 20-30  bucks to support nepali movies but they lack in quality and entertainment. People were going gaga over Loot so i watched it on youtube and saw nothing special about it. I would suggest learning from the korean movie industry and bringing the nepali audience some interesting and original stories, told in an interesting way.

We cannot reach the heights of hollywood but we can reach the heights achieved by korean movies.
