It always happens if you are a hard working person.
Make sure you fulfill the requirement of the position .I mean the number of years in experience.
Instead of having fake detail of US employer add Nepal's Experience if you have any or else fake it cause there is no way they can verify your Nepal experience.

Even if you don't have enough years of experience your manager might fight for you because he/she thinks you are a valuable member for there team,So my suggestion is go ahead update the resume and go for it

Its a good opportunity for you don't let it go.

First of all, I admit I am being judgemental here. I am sure I might have done so many things that you don't approve of. So my apologies. Understand my frustration as I have been the victim of resume padding directly when I was in the industry; I hated this practice.

Now, you said, " I beleive if u can do that there is nothing wrong with it." I don't think there's anything wrong in joining a company full time while working as a consultant-there might be some legal restrictions from consulting firm but that's legal matter and your firm might not have that restriction. Are you suggesting there's nothing wrong with padding your resume? Almost everybody makes their resume look better by slightly padding it up; the issue is that people blatantly lie about years of experience while they have none. Is this the biggest crime? No it's not. If you know your stuff and you can demonstrate the same ability then it might be immoral but not a crime. But don't say there's nothing wrong with it.

Your life, however you want to live it. Good luck with your background check, most of the time they aren't that detailed.

While my background check was going on...I had some expereinces from Nepal which i had included in my resume..

and my employer went on  to email the companies and verify my work expereince.

Luckily for me i had genuinely worked there and everything came out clean.

But for you i would say before you fake it think about how your are going to make it just in case they contact ur references from Nepal.

In my expererience if you use Nepal's fake experience and if they email them than you might be in trouble. Moreover you are here in US and there is no way you can bribe them over the wire and ask them to verify it for you.

Thanks for all the inputs, but the resume has all US experiences. I don't know if you still have it in their system, so how can I now put experience from Nepal. Wouldn't that be a clear cut problem ?

thts is why these cheap indian companies do that, i have heard. For me i started as an intern and later on one indian company came to me n asked me to modify resume and he could provide me the best jobs in usa. I did not do that knowing that client will definitely offer full time cause paying per hour is so much expensive. Dude dont settle for full time just find another client, this dhoti has got you in trouble. As a matter of fact i have seen so many guys who did not listen to me and underestimated me saying this is USA anything is possible. yes things r possible but it is like wht my fellow nepalese think. They will simply do the background checks you will never be able to fake it. they dont do much of a background check if u r contractor because it costs them money and they r sure 99% of them will come negative. So they do the "andra bhudi" with the full timers. So Dont do it, I am telling you, if the background check comes negative u wont be able to use this client as ur references in future purpose. So just ask them what would be the compensation and after that u cud just tell them this is way lower than what i m making right now n then decline the offer. that way they wont know about ur situation. So again forget about the reference checks, u might not be able to even pass the background check(most of the time).
Good luck.
