BAGLUNG, Jan 20: His investigative creations started from the time when he was a student of class two fiddling with a cassette. After many researches, a flying car is going to be his next invention. Kushal K C, a resident of Baglung, Binamare-7, made a fan from a motor boat that he created out of a cassette. That was his first invention. He has already built a motor boat, a dynamo, a photo projector, a micro projector, a robot hand and a hovercraft. After building a helicopter and a solar car, his skill began to be noticed much widely.

His skill of looking for and researching new things has refined over time. Anything related to research and new findings excites him and he has been inventing one thing or the another at every level of his education.

A recent class 12 graduate from NASA International College in Kathmandu, he believes that science is principle, research and use. A student of science, Kushal is now concentrating on building a car which will roll on the road, fly and even float on water.

This car will be based on the model of a hovercraft. When the air fan pulls the air, the pressure from the air will enable the car to fly at least 12 inches from the ground and its ability to float on water is also believed. The air throwing motor, battery and tin sheets have already been installed. “I’ve tested it many times,” he says, “I will continue till I’m successful.” He is hopeful that it will be a success because he has managed to build a solar car and an air car based on various principles before.

There are four wheels in this car, and two engines will be attached to it. “One of them will be used when it’s on the road, and the other will come in handy during flying,” he said, adding, “I’ve attached wires in both of them. My car is based on the Bernoulli’s principle.” Aluminum and fiber glass have also been used in the car which has a cockpit for the driver.

Kushal believes that practicing principals in a practical way results in new inventions. For his latest endeavor, the Education Department has helped him with capital of Rs 200,000. Initially, it was quite a challenge for him to take his work forward. Many authorities had extended their help in the past. This car will need a paragliding and a Pulsar bike’s engines and he is looking for financial support as the cost amounts up to Rs 1 million. “I’ve asked many authorities for help,” he says, “This will be successful just like my previous projects.”

Dipak Limbu, a science teacher at NASA International College has been monitoring his project and finds that Kushal has an extraordinary skill. “His expertise in mechanical parts at this age is really at a high level,” says Limbu. He is pretty sure that Kushal’s present work will be successfully tested. “The body structure of the car is ready,” said Limbu, who had come from Kathmandu to take a look at the car in Baglung, “He is now trying to collect funds as the car needs some designs to enable it to fly as well as roll on land.”

Kuhsal was very curious, active and creative since his childhood. Though not very interested in studies, new things always brought out his inquisitive side. “Even when I was younger I was always more interested in new subject matters, researching it and trying it out than in my studies,” he speaks of his childhood. He wants to be a rising child scientist. Currently pursuing Bachelor’s in Science from Tri Chandra Campus, Kushal plans to study Aeronautical Engineering in the future.

After building a helicopter, he was worried about air pollution and the rising temperature worldwide and hence, he built a solar car. “It is due to the increasing urbanization and the use of diesel and petrol that air pollution is increasing,” he said, “I thought it was an excellent option to control the worldwide problem of rising temperature by using vehicles that run on solar energy. That is what motivated me.”

He has won more than half a dozen national level awards till date. “I’m always worried about how to get more knowledge and how to use it,” he stated, adding, “We can be successful when we realize our potential and continue what we’re doing.” His advice to young children is, “Find your skill, do things you are interested in and continue doing it. Continue trying even if you fail once, and you’re sure to be successful.”

Kushal was born in an ordinary family in Baglung. He passed his SLC examinations from Amrit Adarsh Higher Secondary School in Baglung and his parents, Bhim and Rudra K C, have a small business in Baglung bazaar. Kushal’s school principal had only praises for his days as a school student. Principal Mahesh Chandra Pradhan said, “Along with his interest in new things, he was also clever in many other activities. It was in class 10 that he built the solar car and grabbed the limelight.”

Reason Karki Debates on Einstein Theory To Be Incompleate

KATHAMANDU: Reason Karki, a student of Biratngar based Budhanilkantha Secondary School, who appeared for the SLC exam this year, is back from International Space Development Conference (ISDC) on May 28 in Florida of the USA.

He claimed that he has developed mathematical formulas to prove that two principles were incomplete and false. “As I have put my theory in the conference at the NASA about my formulas, and most of the Astronots have their positive reaction to my theory,” Karki said.

A 16- year- old Reason Karki is returned to his native land Nepal from International Space Development Conference after challenging Newton’s and Einstein theory which is still believed by people from all over the world. He raised the questions against Newton’s Gravitational Force and Einstein’s Space Time Curvature theory in NASA conference held from 28th May to 31st May 2009 in USA. Scientists from all over the world had attended the conference.

According to him, “My theory is built around the idea that two repulsive forces, instead of the traditionally thought gravitationally attractive forces, explains the continuous expansion of the universe. My theory is formulaically represented by Fg = Mc2/d, a slightly different theory than Einstein’s E=Mc2.

He explained his theory and his experience in the conference to physicists, teachers and media represents at a press conference organized at the Nobel Academy on 11 May, 2009. He says that Einstein’s Space Theory is incomplete. If according to Einstein and other Scientists, two Mass are required for gravitational force then how Universe with one Mass does exists? Reason Karki further admits that Universe have its own life like other living things.
In conference Dr. John Leski and a physicist named Burge Adrin had supported karki’s new concept. Reason Karki is now going to do more hard work on the new concept which he has given in NASA.

A student who has just appeared in the School Level Certificate (SLC) examination challenges the Newton’s law of universal gravitation and Einstein’s theory. He submitted his proposal to the United States government agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). On the basis of his claim, NASA has invited a Nepali teenager student to participate in a conference scheduled from 28 May to 31.

He registered his proposal on February 21 through the internet and paid the registration fee through his family member who lives in USA. The Bio-Science Division Office of the NASA responded to Karki’s argument on March 3, according to him. “The office has invited me to join the conference that starts from May 21, Reason Karki said.

Reason Karki has registered his name in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) on Wednesday, February 21, 2009 claiming that he could prove that the Law of Gravity propounded by Sir Isaac Newton and the Principle of Space Time Curvature propounded by Albert Einstein were false. “I submitted 200 US dollars to get my name registered” Reason said. He claimed that he has developed mathematical formulas to prove that two principles were incomplete and false. “As I informed the NASA about my formulas, my name has been selected to prove my assertions,” Karki said.

Reason Karki was born in July 13, 1992 in Bhojpur District which is a hilly district in the eastern Nepal. He acquired education up to grade VI in Bhojpur Public school, Saraswoti Lower Secondary. He was later admitted to Budhanilkantha School Biratnagar, Sunsari District, The eastern region nepal. Reason said he faced difficulties learning as English was used as the language of instruction. He says, “I started studying books and magazines related to Science and watch TV channels including the Discovery and the History when I was studying in Grade VIII.”

Reason’s mother Mina said, “My son used to watch TV alone in the night.”

His father Raj Kumar said, “I was surprised when the school made public his findings in a press conference,” adding, “We are ready to do anything to help him accomplish his goals.”

Karki’s parents who belong to a middle class family said they would bear all the expenses to send their son to attend the conference, but it is not easy to get that much money to send him. He got the Visa from the Immigration office USA. Karki informed that the total expenditure for his trip would be around Rs 6, 00,000. He said he will need a laptop for presentation in the conference. He has urged the government to assist him in taking part in the conference but the government of Nepal also not ready to help him for his claim to prove. He urge to all the Nepalese citizens for helping him to collect the amount which he need to attend that conference. He had opened a bank account so that he could collect the money but no one interested to help him.

Reason Karki a Nepalese Teenagers, who had no interest in playing games, he never use to engage himself with other friends of him doing chatting or roaming, he loves net surfing. He was never interested to waste his times on other things than his books and history or discovery channel. He is sure about his mathematical statistics and proves which says that the Newton and Einstein theory is wrong. He loves to see the Stars in the night time and use to try to solve his own assumptions. If the “Reason’s” reason will be proved right, then the whole nation Nepal will be proud of him.

“Reason” is all set with his documents and equations which he is going to show in conference to the scientists. Now this teenage has a big responsibility on his shoulders. But this poor boy’s path had never been easier. Reason was money. He asked monetary help from many govt. and non govt. institutes. None of these institutes believed on him. Inspite of his courage and hard work no monetary support he could get. This poor boy’s future was on stake because of his poor economic condition. “Reason” had already lost his hope of attending US conference but then Noble Academy came ahead to help this young boy.

Noble Academy is taking the responsibility of his air fare to US and providing him some extra money for his other expenditure. Of Noble Academy Mr. Surendra Shrestha said that, “if somebody has got the talent and wants to do something then we should help him,” Further he said that, “if “Reason’s” challenges get works then it will be a great achievement of Nepal”. But sad part is this that the teachers who are suppose to go along with “Reason” to US for his moral support is still a big question mark. Again the problem of poor economic condition is coming in front of them. These teachers also need monetary help. Till the “Reason” will remain in US to attend the conference and to meet with NASA scientists, Noble Academy and Davali Milan Centre of America has taken the responsibility of his food and accommodation expenses. They are also providing him pick and drop facility for that particular period.
Because his poor economic condition he had not even done his necessary shopping. But then on Sunday (24-May-2009) when his tickets got confirmed, then he rushed to buy needful things.

On Monday (25th May 2009) he was suppose to reach to Tribhuwan International Airport (Nepal) at 02:00 pm, but he was busy in the market as he was buying a new pair of pant and shirt to wear in conference. Till 01:00 pm he was in the market.

He is very much confident about the challenge he has given. He said that, “I have written new principle and it will bye pass the old principle. He further said that, “Earlier there were no solution for Dark Energy and Dark Matter but I have solved both of these problems”.
He is going to prove: - Newton’s Second law of motion.

The change in velocity (acceleration) with which an object moves is directly proportional to the magnitude of the force applied to the object and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
