Just a question, I have been in relationship with my boyfriend from high school, but after high school I came to USa for bachelor studies.
Now I miss him greatly, Is there anyway I can make him visit him over here. I miss him so much I used to rremember the time we spend together, gossiping, watching pormo together, shopping, etc.

Does any one feels the same and can anyone suggest me to invite her over here for a short time?

On the home page, look up "Sabita Bhabee" under "search member" box. She could probably relate to your situation better than anyone else.

Good luck.

even though you are in OPT, you can visit Nepal. Visiting nepal during ur OPT is just similar to visiting nepal during ur college time. only thing that you need in addition is a letter from your employer. If you miss him so much then you should go visit him. best of luck.

Maiyass,

As I sit down to write a thoughtful response for you, first of all, I would like to point out that your name is very innovative. It could mean a bunch of “maiyyas” or it could also mean my ass. Well, I wouldn’t find the latter too innovative.

First of all, take a bow for being in a relationship for that long. I know what it takes to forgo what you have (and what you could have) and stick to the same guy for this long. You guys seem to have a great story too – my beau never took me to Banepa or Bhaktapur! You guys seem to be very liberal as well (unless I misunderstood watching promo together and took it way too literally).

In the words of Dan Savage, it gets better. (Or, maybe you get stronger). Those long nights spent thinking of him, those times on skype you spent just longing for a touch, and all those tears you shed are well spent. Someday he will arrive at your place with a horse as you await him in a red saree. Think of those times, think of the chintus and munnis you guys are going to give birth to – really just think of them, and try and be content for now. Conversely, he could be fooling around with some babes back home, but wait, you trust him, don’t you? Good. Long distance Relationships are built on trust.

I guess your best option would be this – Get married to a white man. Or a middle aged middle eastern man with a citizenship (you will find them in every dimly lit club in New York). They will always be in groups creeping on girls, or fist pumping to a top 40 song that only them, teenagers and new immigrants dig. Then get a divorce two years later, and then get married to your boyfriend.

If that’s not an option, here is a detailed plan

1)   Check the prices for a two way ticket – KTM – USA
2)   Rate you boyfriend on a scale of 1-10 (you know, the usual comprehensive scale that incorporates looks, personality,      intelligence and everything)
3)   Calculate the number of days you have been apart from each other
4)   Calculate the average minutes/day you guys spend talking to each other.

Now calculate this value :

(Ticket Price – No. of Days Apart)/ (Boyfriend Rating * Avg Minutes per Day)

If that number falls between 5-10, invite him over. If not, its not worth it.

(That was a response if you are a troll and actually a dude pretending to be a girl)

Well if you aren’t, go home this winter break. Your office will probably be closed for sometime for Xmas anyways, so take advantage of that break. You can travel with an OPT.
