Anyone who has worked in the U.S. for 20 to 25 years, especially in farming, hotels, or hospitality, may be given preference under a new order, which could allow them to stay in the U.S. legally.
Under the Republican administration, “migrant” is the new name for illegal immigrants, while “non-citizen” was the term used under the Democratic administration.

One day, he says he wants to protect farmers and hospitality workers by not deporting them. The next day, he promises a record number of deportations to fulfill a campaign pledge and surpass Obama’s deportation numbers. These conflicting statements create confusion and uncertainty for businesses that rely on immigrant labor.

José Antonio González came to this country at nine years old. He spent 38 years here in USA painting houses, delivering appliances, paying taxes, raising a family. In December 2025, the United States put him on a plane and deported him, not to Cuba where he was born, but to Mexico.
And here's the part that makes it unforgettable: his entire family his wife, his kids, his in-laws, his 82-year-old mother, all U.S. citizens voted for Donald Trump in 2024.
In his words: "My entire family voted for Trump, but we didn't know this was going to happen." In 2024, a record 68% of Cuban-Americans in Miami-Dade backed Trump. Since then, more than 4,300 Cubans have been deported to Mexico.
He also spent 6 months in detention center.
I am so happy for him.
I want to hear more news like this and will be happy for you if you voted Trump and this happens to you. I pray to god that this happens to you too if you voted or supported him and still support him. Cheers.
