Forget about USA. Now, there is a $100k fee for H1b. So, may big companies are hesitant to do H1b for new applicants . And, trump administration is coming up with new rules for OPT/STEM which will make difficult to land jobs after you complete your studies here in USA. Also, the IT market is not that good right now. I suggest to go to India and try luck in Artificial intelligence( something like Generative AI engineer). I read Microsoft is pouring a lot of money in AI especially in India. Good luck.

The rules are probably a facade only like the earlier ones. And will be challenged in court.

Who told you the rules will be contested in court and will be blocked ? Trump administration has designed the rule in such a way that it can not be blocked by the court. H1b application is already down by more than 40% in 2025. If you don't believe me, ask any new graduates how difficult is it to find a job right now in US.
