dawg977, here is a quick history lesson, When Obama first won, Democrats controlled both the House and Senate. Yet, on immigration, they did nothing. We were a soccer ball from one end to another. Instead, the focus was on gay and transgender rights, which is fine, but we, as a demographic, did not matter. That said, I have immense respect for him.
Nowadays, you have to wait for someone to unlock a razor at Walmart or CVS from a glass display, which shows where America stands today. Proud of my lower-middle-class roots, I stayed true to my student visa path, unlike those who veer off and expect America to serve them. I paid my taxes, served in the Army, and deployed to a critical region. If they want to send me back, so be it.

I hope everyone gets deported. All citizens, pr holders, h1bs , tps, students etc. I hope everyone gets to go home and once again we celebrate dashain, tihar, deusi, bahilo as we used to in 90s and early 2000s..its been a long ride and never ending fear and torture. Though I haven't lied and filed asylum or refugee I'm no less scared even us passport. Will this fear continue to the next generation ? I see 2nd even 3rd generation non white descendents of immigrants still living like a 2nd class ctz. Lets all go and have fun. We only get life once.
