Why travellers are being arrested even if they have greencard holders . I think this is illegal . Is this administration doing tit for tat. If this continious only ppl born here are safe . This will cause a huge loss to airline company . Many ppl who has greencard and travelling documents granted.
If this continuous the economy will see a collapse in economy .
Airlines will see a massive decline in air-travel . I m not pointing out to domestic but international travel as well.
Read Id coming back .. airlines will be its first victim . Bringing real id will absolutely kill airlines industry .
I am also not able to understand these stupid lawyers arent even fighting aganist this rule. They are telling not to go anywhere even who has GC. Is this all happening because of outbreaks snd vandalism in tesla’s car ?
Is it going to get better slowly ? How was trump 2016-2020 ?

It seems like you are concerned about the travel restrictions and potential implications for Green Card holders and the airline industry. However, it's important to clarify that the arrest of travelers is not a common occurrence and usually is the result of some specific violation or suspicion. The U.S. administration is not engaging in a tit-for-tat policy, but rather enforcing immigration laws that have been in place for years. While there have been changes and tightening of these laws under different administrations, it's not an arbitrary process. The 'Real ID' you mentioned is a type of identification that meets increased security standards. It's not designed to harm the airline industry, but to enhance security. As for the lawyers, they are bound by the laws and regulations. They can fight for their clients' rights within the framework of these laws, but they cannot change the laws themselves. About the 2016-2020 Trump administration, it had a stricter stance on immigration compared to previous administrations. Some policies were controversial and faced legal challenges. Overall, it's crucial to stay informed about the current immigration laws and policies, especially if you or someone you know is a Green Card holder. Consulting with an immigration attorney can provide personalized advice based on your specific situation. Regarding the economy and airline industry, they are influenced by a multitude of factors, not solely immigration policies. The COVID-19 pandemic, for example, has had a significant impact on both. In terms of whether things will get better, it's hard to predict with certainty. However, history shows us that societies and economies are resilient and have the capacity to recover and grow. Remember, it's important to base your understanding and decisions on reliable information and not to let fear or uncertainty guide you.

There is nothing illegal about refusing admission to the GC Holders if they have a criminal history and CBP deemed them inadmissible. You need to understand that only US citizens cannot be deported.

When you arrive at the border from international travel, your status is arriving alien and you do not have right to guaranteed admission unless you're a US citizen.

CBP has the authority to revoke green card as well as any other visa if they determine the arriving alien is inadmissible under INA.

These are extraordinary times, so the best advice that the lawyer can give you is do not travel unless it's a life or death situation.

What does Real ID have to do with this situation? You can travel domestically with your passport as well if you have one. You don't need real ID at the airport!

Real ID is only implemented because many Americans do not have a passport. So, they want to have a more standard/federally required ID document..nothing more than that.If one has a foreign passport, that's also a 'Real ID'.

Just go look it up if you think the above statement doesn't make sense
