I guess frm some random Nepalese woman frm New York/New Jersey who alws keep posting abt the US immigration stuff on her TIKTOK videos.Tho she has no any legal background.I saw her TIKTOK video by accident on facebook yesterday where she posted abt 6 months extension.Tesaelai follow gareko hola saathile.

Published yesterday by khasokhas, media partner with DHS. Adhikaar members did contact the editor of khasokhas and yes, they confirmed it. However, everyone is advised to still not take is as 100% and wait for the FRN first.

The law is crystal clear: if DHS doesn’t publish a TPS decision in the Federal Register at least 60 days before it expires, TPS is automatically extended for six months — no ifs, no maybes. That deadline for Nepal was April 25. They missed it. So TPS is now legally extended until December 24. This isn’t desperation — it’s the law protecting people, whether DHS announces it or not. Stop scaring others when the facts are right there.

Yes ShaniDev is right FRN is needed to prove it has been auto extended. I have provided that for prior auto extension.
Just to clarify — yes, a Federal Register Notice (FRN) is definitely required to update your I-9 and to formally extend EADs or update DMV systems. But what I was saying is this: the legal extension of TPS itself already happened the moment DHS missed the April 25 deadline.
If an FRN is not published, can we not work anymore?
That should be how it should be, but it is not necessarily true. Afghanstan ko announcement 40 din agadi garera terminate bhandya thyo. Ajhai pani FRN ma publsih garya chaina. Aba May 20 ma k garchan let's see. Tyo pachi hamro k huncha anuman lagauna sakincha.
