Has anyone filed for travel document recently and how reasonable would it be to expect in less than 2 months for (business) travel?

Very very unreasonable. Don't do it.You'll be wasting your money unless you have a very valid reason to expedite such as death in the family.

It's very unlikely that they will agree to expedite for business reason. The situation has to be extreme or everybody will start expediting.
