Missing Nepali FM Radio Abroad?

Living outside Nepal, there are some small things you don’t think you’ll miss until they’re gone. For me, one of those things is simply turning on the radio and hearing what’s happening back home.

So we recently worked on a Nepali radio page at Merokalam that brings 200+ Nepali FM and radio stations into one place:

Listen to Nepali Radio Online on Merokalam -> https://merokalam.com/nepali-radio-online/

The idea is pretty simple. Instead of searching Google for individual stations, installing several apps, or trying different station websites, you can open one page, search for a station and start listening.

We tried to include not only the big Kathmandu stations but also local FM stations from different provinces, districts and cities. That part is actually what I find most interesting. Someone originally from Pokhara, Butwal, Chitwan, Dharan, Biratnagar or a smaller district can listen to a familiar local station even while sitting in the US, Australia, Canada, UK or somewhere else.

There is no account or registration required, and the goal is to keep it simple enough that even parents who aren't very technical can use it.

This is still something we want to keep improving, so Sajha feedback would actually be useful.
