Why is Sushila Karki Pissed?

Sushila Karki became our first woman Chief Justice (CJ) of our Supreme Court and we were really proud of her then. After her retirement, she spoke up against how our dirty old netas used the courts as a recruitment center for their own jholeys and even named names of folks who offered her Karods of cash to do their bidding when she was the CJ!

Then the Gen Z protests happened and she spoke against then PM Oli and told us all that Oli must be hanged (well, not literally) and he should pay a heavy price for murdering school kids. And when the country was about to blow up, Balen refused to become our PM and handed Baluwatar to Sushila Karki, who then became the "Aama" for most of us!

She did a great job by holding the country together and conducting the elections successfully. But then she started acting funny. She decided to appoint her own personal assistant to head our nature conservation thing on her way out and even decided to nominate the Home Minister for the National Assembly. She lost half of her fans with these decisions.

And now, our 'Aama' is slowly turning into 'Silly Sushila' by barking against the new government. Yes, Sapana Malla Pradhan is qualified to become our CJ and so are the rest of the five folks recommended by the Judicial Council. The Constitutional Council decided to appoint another person rather than Sapana as the next CJ. Silly Sushila went ballastic and said it was an attack against all women in the country. No, it was not. It was against the jholey-ization of the Supreme Court and the setting from the mili-juli governments of the past!

I guess somebody needs to remind her that she approved appointments of almost a hundred judges across the country during after-hours when she was the CJ. She was part of the system then and she has shown her true colors now!

Then she goes further and scolds a journalist and tells him to call Balen's wife 'Aama' now. Well, Sushila Karki has shown us all that she is no different from the rest of the old fogies who have milked the system through political connections. She was one of them. We thought she would be different and she has proved us wrong again!

I really don't blame Silly Sushila. She belongs to the same generation as Oli and Deuba, who never listened to young people and think they know everything, while young ones are juvenile delinquents and have no common sense. But in reality, it is because of them that we all had to suffer as a nation for the past 3 decades!

Sushila Karki comes from a Congressi background. Her husband was part of the hijacking team representing the Nepali Congress and managed to loot Rs 30 lakhs INR from that incident. They were the 'OG" Maobadis back then! And she calls herself a 'democrat'... maybe she should buy the Oxford English Dictionary and read it through to figure out what to call herself next!

We were very proud when she became our first woman PM as well! But today, she is seen as an angry old lady who somehow is still pissed that her PA got his termination letter thanks to Balen, and she still thinks she is relevant in the 'Balen' era.

My only question to her is why she didn't go after the corrupt ones, and even Oli and Lekhak when she was the PM? Why did she postpone the release of the Karki Commission report until the election was over, and that too was leaked by some of our tabloid journalists?

She has lost her credibility and her goodwill as well with the recent outbursts, and she is now a member of the 'whiners' club, chaired by Harka Sampang. We wish her all the best. She will continue to receive her perks as our former PM. I don't know why she needs all that because she has a nice house and a fat pension as well!

If she really wants to show us all that she is pissed about Balen and his every move, then just send back the vehicles (she has returned one as she had two a few days ago!) and don't take the security and other perks as well. Go on morning walks like you did during the Gen Z protest, and maybe hang out with another pissed off bhai Miraj Dhungana to feel better!
