What you no longer need could mean the world to someone else.
Over the years, I've given away things I no longer needed through Facebook's free giveaway groups. While it felt great to help others, I often found myself facing a simple dilemma: Who should I give it to when multiple people are interested? How do I make that decision fairly?
That got me thinking. Why not create something similar for our own Nepali community, but make the process more transparent, fair, and democratic?
That's how the idea of Sajha Free Giveaways was born.
The concept is simple:
Something sitting unused in your garage, closet, or basement could be incredibly valuable to a student, a newly arrived family, or someone simply trying to make ends meet.
One person's unused item could be another person's blessing.
At Sajha, our core mission has always been to connect, support, and empower Nepalis around the world. We believe a strong community isn't just about sharing news, ideas, and conversations. It's also about helping one another in meaningful, practical ways.
Imagine thousands of Nepalis giving away things they don't need and thousands of others finding something useful, without money changing hands.
It's not about charity. It's about community, generosity, fairness, and making better use of what we already have.
We hope Sajha Free Giveaways becomes another small but meaningful way to bring our community closer together.
Because when we share what we have, we all become richer.
❤️ Sharing is Caring. Together, we make our community stronger.
