Nobody has guaranteed answers for these questions. Today, the answers for these questions are divided into two different bases: Religion and Science. According to all the religions, there is a super being called God, who created the entire Universe, this Earth, you, and me. But the problem is nobody has yet claimed to see or meet the “God”. Then how valid is it to say that something that does not exist created everything? Before we get lost into this topic of God, let us see how religions were formed first. Back in the days, thousands of years ago, when first humans were living in caves and jungles in small community, do you think they had any sort of Religions or God? The answer is no. They could see the entire natural phenomenon but had no clue on the process. They noticed there was this bright and dark phenomenon each day, cold and hot phenomenon each year. The sun and the moon amused them, they are still amusing though. The Sun gave them heat and brightness, and a sense of security and warmth. The moon that grew bigger some nights and grew smaller other nights gave them the feeling of presence of some supernatural power. They thought the one that protects them “The Sun” and the one that changes shapes every night in the magnificent sky “The moon” must be something powerful than them. This is the point in time, which seeded the “theory of God”. Community started to get bigger, languages were developing so was the ability in people to communicate and document, the era of Great Civilization was approaching. The Sun and the Moon became their God. The way of life became a religion. The landscape and natural resources shaped their way of life. This is how a cow became the God in one community and the same cow became food in another. In between there were stories that got evolved for hundreds and thousands of years, of which some even became a “Holy Ones”. Stories were told about the solar and lunar eclipse or any phenomenon that was beyond their ability to explain. These stories were passed from generations to generations. Characters started to get build up with these stories, you know like how “Chinese Whisper” works. Names were given to different Gods. This process sort of explains why the religious assumptions on the theory of creation are not valid. On the other hand, Science developed along with the human civilization. We found out that the Sun was nothing but a big ball of hydrogen with a chemical reactions going on all the time. We also found out that the moon never changed its shape; it was only revolving around the Earth. Most importantly we found out that the Earth was not a flat land. These are some of the facts that science discovered and brought about a revolution and even conflicts at some point in the history of human civilization. Still Science does not explain everything. The answer to the origin of the universe remains unanswered. “Big Bang theory” assumes that universe started from a point that was smaller than any atomic particles that we know of till today. Where this particle came from? How did it get the enormous energy to form this magnificent Universe? The answers are still unclear. Though we know the fact matter could be created from energy and vice versa, but where did this vast energy came from still remains a mystery. Will we ever find answers to these questions?
