dcgirl, Seeing your menu, my mouth already started to water. It's amazing that you know how to cook all these delicious food. I would so like to come to have them, but I'm zillions of miles away from your place. How about sharing your talent in youtube, so that we can also learn to cook these food ourselves.  Please please please put the videos of recipes like gwara mari, keema chatamari and other authentic newari delicacies.

Oye that chatamari is not newari style. My location is arlington, VA . Alterego, like wine testing we should do food testing and bring all your friends. But i can do this after September only. Cooking is one kind of art. If I get time I will make cooking videos.

I have heard of bunsen burner, but what on earth is busnen burner? Oh it must be a typo.  Sorry dude.  Kinda like tasting vs. testing.

nepcha1, I have no idea what you are trying to say ? trolling as she could be bullshitting about the whole make-you-guys-newari-food-for-5-bucks for her own entertainment.

dolphin · Aug 21, 2012 3:12 PM

Dear brothers and sisters, I am for good cause and also some entertainment too. Me and my boyfriend are planning this. If anyone knows how to play guitar and sing, join us in this cause. Also bring your girlfriends and boyfriends, sisters, brothers.    Last edited: 21-Aug-12 03:24 PM

And that last post takes care of 80% of the Sajha bokas. DCGirl, I hope this becomes a success. Even if you have a small show-up in your first try, don't give up. Maybe you can open the field and let others bring food and sell it too? A not-for-profit potluck. Just a thought.

Kiddo · Aug 22, 2012 9:12 AM

If you are going to sell food, you probably might need to get a permit from the town.  Just saying.  While the intention is good, don't get arrested.

Nepali_American · Aug 22, 2012 10:08 AM

Do the children who sell lemonade have to register? But we are not children i know. Unlike potluck, I will buy all cooking material and we all divide the cost among whoever comes to join us ( a little more $ than the cost).
