Will a Nepali national with a GC need a visa to visit Switzerland?

My simple common sense says even you are GC, you are still a citizen of Nepal and you do not get US passport until you get your US citizenship. Visting any country requires a passort if not visa and you only have a Nepali passport. So you need visa irrespective of US citzens needing visa or not.

That doesn't imply for us visiting Canada, does it, smartass? Further, I got different results from different sites as Switzerland doesn't require it regardless of our citizenship.

Then goodluck, try visitng there with your shiny GC and end up in Jail..lol and yell to immig' officer that you are "smart" enough to not carry passport. By the way, have you gone to Canda with just GC, then propably you are already out of status here. Revalidate your GC..lol Last edited: 13-Aug-12 02:08 PM

I am pretty sure you need visa to enter Canada if one has gc.

One good fella, Switzerland used to be one of the countries that did not require visa for US Green Card holder. Then i heard they were asking for visa again. I would call the nearest swiss consulate and find out.
