sap dude here is my logic behind supporting the OPs cause: 1. no racial inference has been casted over any other group of nepalese by just calling newars to form newa group. 2. everyone has a right to congregate and create community if they do so in peaceful manner that is not going to racially alienate or profile others. So far nothing suggests that the OPs call to create an organization has any malicious or hateful intent. Publicly calling to join and create a community is not racist in any way. if you feel offended then it's you who seem to have an issue in seeing this as an act of racial bigotry. please prove me otherwise. 3. if this new community serves as one of the many diverse groups in the greater boston areas helping erase the boundries of division between nepalese ethnic faction then how is this ever an issue of racism?    Last edited: 27-Jul-12 11:01 AM Last edited: 27-Jul-12 11:02 AM

He is trying to find out if there are other Newars interested in forming a group so that they can invite everyone for newari cultural program. There is nothing wrong with trying to find out if there are other people that share his interest. It might seem wrong for you if you are biased against such racial differences, but for the general people it's just another interest group. According to your logic there should never be a newari program in radio Nepal. There should not even be hindi program in radio nepal or TV because it's public media.

From my side this time double LOL Why ? Because I didnot thought about cast/ racism while posting Why I LOLed then ? Because The origional poster is asking for mail/name and phone number  of newari community without giivng who is he/she and what is his/her purpose Have you guys herd about Identity theft? (name, phone, email, place) If some one, in the name of community ask my name, phone number and email, first I would like to know 1. Who is He? 2. What is the purpose? 3. Wht is the gurantee that name, phone number and email will not be misused? Cant it be a trap? When someone wants to do something good about community dont you guys think he/she needs to explain it clearly before asking personal information? How do you guys know he/she is newar? In this virtual world anyhting can happen, So if someone asks me about my personal information without expalining anything should I give ? In his/her second posting he/she was modest, not getting agitated by odd comments and explaining the purpose That was forthcoming, good steps, but is that enough? to give someone whom I dont know personally my tel no. email and name I am not saying that he/she is a bad person but when going to media for something dont you think ppl deserve to know more when they are giving personal information to some one? Organization kholna lai manche ko naam kina chahiyo, one person can open it and he should have some physical address and then he or they can invite anybody to visit there with specific time. Ani manche haru kasto hussu, thread creator ley rakhyo bhandai ma bahun, chetrri ani aru newar ley discuss suru garihalnu parcha ra???? I am newar but I aint gonna email him just by the way he is saying he is forming newar community. Interested Newars with NAME AND PHONE NUMBER rey????
