Yesto napunsak lai lutnu ni lutera haru le.There's nothing cowardly and sickening than a guy raising his arm to torture a woman.

It's not only him; his family members are also responsible, and should be dragged to the court. They knew that he killed his first wife and they remained silent to protect him. From the news, it's clear that police are also to be blamed; they perhaps have already closed the case for the death of his first wife saying it was suicide. Suicide by burning must be very painful, and I wonder why the ones who really did choose such painful way. It's easy to close the case than investigating it especially when bribes and politics are involved. Other high profile cases of wife's burnings are of two actresses, Nabina Shrestha, and Chhabi Ojha's (Rekha Thapa's husband) first wife. These are the stories that make Nepal a failed nation. In these kind of cases, there is no foreign power and no jatiyata involvement. It's the mentality of us and our society.
