Where is the President? Where is the Prime Minister? Where are the other so called Leaders? Is this not the time to show leadership?  Is this not the time to bring people together in unity?  Should they not come out with "bhasans" and "op-ed newspaper articles" and TV speeches to lead the people towards collective good?   Instead, they are cowering in their halls, making backroom deals. Where are the past leaders?   Where are the past Army Chiefs?  Granted the present one cannot make political statements and police chiefs are too embroiled in corruption.  Where are the so called leaders of  civic society?   Where are the esteemed professors?   Where are the ganya-manya byaktis? Shouldn't these people come out and voice their opinion to bring Nepal together? C'mon now!!!

Nepal has been void of leaders who want to do something for the country. In other countries, the constitution and the laws prohibit politicians from abusing the rights of the citizens but in Nepal there are no laws to control the politicians. No amount of arguments or discussions are going to do anything good for the country. Unless you go there and get rid of the corrupt politicians, nothing is going to happen.
