Does anyone heard about Cavalier  or Terra info tech  in New jersey ? Anyone working for them ?

karnali9 · May 6, 2012 10:49 PM

I worked for Terra Infotech back in 2008/2009. Good marketing team to find placement quickly except that no different than any other Desi Consultancies.  Good Luck

Hi Adventurer,  which training did you attended at that time in terra infotech. I dont understand why they are running two IT consultancies from same place. The other one is called Cavalier. Were you satisfied with their service. Did you move to another consultancy after 2009. Did they pay you on time or not?  I would really appreciate if you could share some of your experience with them or any other IT consultancy. Thanks

Hello Karnali9, Cavalier is the new name for Terra InfoTech. Good Points: They  have a very good marketing team.  They always pay you on time. They pay you the reloaction money after you get a placement. They have free training, lodging, fooding and stuffs. They will apply your H1B when you have a client letter. Bad Points: Don't even think about getting a GC from them. They have a bad reputation on it. Their Employee response service sucks.

Junky SumaN is right they do not sponsor your green card. thats the only reason I left from there. I got H1b from them. They  charge high rate to the client and pay less to you. pays timely, they are super nice while you are in project after that they do not care.

Thanks adventurer and junkysuman for sharing your experience. I have few more questions if you guys dont mind. Which training did you attended from them ?  How is their trainer , especially for  Sharepoint admin ? How is their housing facility for new people taking training? Any idea why they are running two different company(terra info tech   &  Cavalier ) from same office at NJ?

karnali9  Their main company is US Tech Solutions. Which is IT solutions company. Thier recruiting company is Terra Infotech. I have no idea about Cavalier.  I took BA training in Fall 2007 which was not helpful at all, you have to learn everything by yourself. After a long gap  I took some classes in early 2008 interview training session which was helpful for me to crack the interview. It took me 4 interviews (direct client) to get a job.  I hope it helps. Good Luck
