I need your serious suggestions guys. I'm here in US and got selected for DV 2013. There are  some concerns that i would like to share with sajha people hoping some one must have been through and would be able to guide me in the right direction from here. Concerns are : While submitting DV lottery form, instead of using my us address, i used my permanent address from nepal ---- Does it matter ? I was single when i applied for lottery but i'm married now  -- How should i include my  spouse in further processing  of the application? As per dv lottery site, under normal circumstances one should be able to file for change of status from within US --- How about my scenario ? Do i need to go back to nepal ? did anyone send ds230 and dsp122 to kcc for dv 2013 and got reply? its been almost month and half i have send those documents and haven’t got any e-mails from kcc.. What should i do.. Any suggestion would be very helpful.

Hi, do not worry. It depends on your case number. Keep looking for www.travel.state.gov. for when the your case number becomes current. The interview process for dv-2013, only start in october 2012. I think for october, up to   the case number 7000 will become current. You will get your second letter about 5-6 weeks before your interview is scheduled. I think no body has   got the second letter yet. They will send you the information by e mail. But to get second latter you have to go and check your status in dvlottery.state.gov as the current letter will become your second letter, or interviw letter. Do not loose your confirmation number.

Thanks for the reply, i have not got any official mails or letters from Kcc, i conformed, that i have selected for 2013 from website using my conformation no and then send send ds230 and dsp122 to kcc. i have known from internet that after receiving ds230 and dsp122 KCC will send conformation at email id, and then we have to pay DV lottery fee is that true? i havent got any letters so was little worried thinking something went wrong. my case no id around 9000 so when will u think it will be current? can u please simplify me the process, if u know it

no, KCC will not send you any e mail until your second letter is ready. But you can send email inquiring wheter they have received your firms or not. But give them your name, case number and DOB (MM/dd/yy)They will send you email, requesting you for the status check in dvlottery.state.gov. do not loose your confirmation number and keep checking the website for second letter.
