1. When the physicians and pharmacists use the same system in the network, less errors. 2. Because hospials have areas where regular comm equipment dont work. Passive eliminates all that resulting in better work flow. In ohter words you'll find Dr. House to save someone's life in time amongmany other things. 3. Think what happenned when humans invented fire, they not only could get protection from tigers and lions, they also cook the deer they killed, the light from fire provided sight. The coal from fire made written aplhabets and the very fire shaped this very copputer you are looking at. All they had to do was maintain the fire.
