 Legitimacy of "dhukuti" aside, what is unpalatable here is some anonymous person is accusing another person by her real name, her business and location.  I suspect this person - secretkiller - has a vendetta against Adhikari and is out to damage her reputation, but in a cowardly fashion of hiding behind a nick in public forum. By the way, I had said as much in a posting last night, but it was deleted by Secretkiller.

I agree with you, Bitter Truth, sorhai aanaa. If somebody has done something illegal or has the potential to harm more people, that person should be brought to justice and let the society be warned. However, who decides that?   Could the accusations be false? And if the accusation is false, by condoning it, aren't we now party in victimizing an innocent person? And even more so, would it make sense to believe someone who hides behind a pseudonym? If this Secretkiller guy/girl had come out and said, "My name is so and so.  I live in such and such place.  I played dhukuti with the said person and the said person did such and such illegal/unethical thing.  Here are the witnesses." then his/her claim would be believable.   But the accuser is hiding behind a nick and making the accusation anonymously.  That, in my honest opinion, sounds not only unbelievable but also malicious. Tyetti ho.

We are not yet decisively in a position to point out who is victimizing who. I remember an incident when this couple had a big fight, and somehow a girlfriend was able to call the cops for her safety. They're already on the parking lot making big noises. They used to live just on the ground floor from where I am now. I was just heading to my work and one of the cops stopped me, looking at the girl asked ,'is he involved?' and she said, 'No, he's not'. For one sec, I was like 'wtf'. Had she told him yes he's( under some influence or say if she was high or some shit like that), I would have easily got busted up. After a few weeks, at my work place , few detectives came by for some work related stuffs. I sort of work in paralegal stuffs assisting LEOs(Law Enforcement Officers) and I happened to ask the detective about the incidents that occured to me earlier few weeks ago. And, he said YES they can and could have arrested based on someone's words. He said, someone could be guilty until proven innocent. So, here is the big word 'PROVEN' . This is the time process where the whole behind the scene game is run which is called 'Investigation' and based on that, fake suer will be counter-charged if found and so and so. You and I don't know who is innocent and who is culprit. That's what I was focusing on. Let's have some work on this drama and find the fact. Let the investigation begin. Anonymity is best preferred when it comes to one's safety and I think since he's accusing, he's concerned about his safety. To my words, nothing is wrong on it. If this goes public, he should consult with his local officers or lawyers and proceed. If it interests him, he can further keep us posted via this thread.  This is just an argumatentive aspect of our discussion. I don't know how authentic this guy is and if he's really into it. If this guy would walk to a sheriff's office and file a complaint, they'd probably arrest her and run an investigation. But the things I wrote is very real and practical. With his words written, I would still consider that lady a convict of a crime until the case is properly investigated. There is no question as of now to assume her being an innocent.

This is not the way to get issues shorted. If you have genuine case, plz put it forward with all your reasoning and proof. All i see is bitter person who is pouring anger and trying to damage someone's name. If you have a genuine case, plz explain in detail whole scenario. When and where did you give the person money and why? Seriously, few lines of ranting won't help. You have to present your case properly.
