The young video blogger's talent for transforming into celebrities with little more than a blush brush and some eye shadow is changing the way people think about makeup.  Posting under the innocuous username dope2111, Phan has churned out viral YouTube hits using her face as a blank canvas and celebrities as her muses.  A makeup artist's guide to runway-ready skin  "I have drawn portraits ever since I was a little girl," Phan tells Shine. "Now I use makeup instead of a pencil to draw with, and my face instead of paper to draw on."  Last week, she transformed into Mona Lisa using some unconventional makeup approaches. She began with an Elmer's glue stick on her brow, and used scar wax to reshape her nose. In less than five minutes, she was worthy of the Louvre.  Phan, a petite 22-year-old Nepalese American, doesn't stop at female celebrities. In January, she made a jaw-dropping transformation into pop star Drake. Using eye shadow, a stippling blush brush and a healthy glob of hair gel, she obtained not only the stubble and bone structure of the teen heartthrob, but also the swagger.

 I read that on yahoo, the last paragraph says that she is Nepalese American. I don't have any further information. It's good to see someone doing a great job, and if she is Nepalese, she makes us proud.

She is a very talented lady. Check her out on youtube. She is a Nepali married to a Vietnamese, that's why her last name is Phan. But I gotta add that she is posing the wrong way for that Mona Lisa look-alike painting. Mona Lisa posed on the other side.

Its so funny hw shes so talented n famous n c has thousands of follwers but nepalese ppl r suprised to see her!!!! I hab been following her since long time even tho i cud never pull off her makeups on mahself!! She went npl last yr wid her viet-american hubby Check her youtube videos whr c shows d world abt npl n hw her grand parents lives in a village....i like her confidience & humbleness!!!

@fantush: good point but i was jst tryin to emphasize how naramro kura gets in everybodys ear so fast....n sad good things dun come as fast while shes been around already for couple of yrs...blame to nepali media also i guess...im pretty sure thr r lotof nepalese in US right now who dunno abt Prabl Gurung o.O

@bionerd , Don't worry she may end up being known to all one day ,well prabal gurung is already in a big platform ,even though i'm not into fashion and all but i  inclduing most pple know him coz he is already covered with top media as well as he's in that top place which made the difference i guess, well she (phan) is also getting there and surely many will know her soon ,hopefully (finger cross) .
