I am taking 13 credits right now. I want to apply for OPT and have a job offer as well. Is it possible to get OPT at this point? I talked to my international advisor and was told that it is possible to apply for OPT but i am not sure if she knows very detailed information regarding this matter. Please let me know if there is a possibility or should i just not apply for OPT and continue going to school.

Following info might be helpful: - International Sudent office Advisor would definitely lead you to the correct destination. - What was your Major/Degree(Bachelors'/Masters')? - Without OPT/CPT/EAD/H1B you can't work. Thats for sure. CPT: Can you apply for a CPT via your college. Get more info from College/ Internation Student Office(ISO). OPT: Since you have an offer letter, ask your Internation Student Office(ISO) to apply for OPT. H1B: In the meanwhile ask your employer if thay are willing to apply for your H1B this April. NO. But you may apply for CPT since you are talking 13 hours. Ask to UCIS what they would say!
