Green card through asylum, can I go home

Hi guyz, I have not filed asylum and don't want to right now, but I am curious about 1 thing. After asylum and green card, can you go back Nepal without problem, or you need to go through India. What happens when you become citizen? In short what are the disadvantages?

Chorfata ko long term plan and i must say very optimistic indeed. Bir Gorkhali jata jasari gaye ni hunchha-we fear no one-i read that somewhere -don't know how much of it is actually true.
