KATHMANDU, JAN 29 - The 13 student unions agitating against the government decision to hike the prices of petroleum products on Sunday announced fresh protest programmes. A meeting of the 13 student unions today came up with a week-long agitation programmes. According to the protest schedule, the student unions will organise a protest rally on Jan 30 and 31 and submit a memorandum to Chief District Officer on Feb 1 to raid the petrol pumps and gas depots. Chairman of UML aligned All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), Madhav Dhungel, said that the student unions will raid the petrol pumps and gas depots in the presence of administration officers on Feb 2. He also informed that they will take out a protest rally on Feb 3 carrying empty cylinders.
